TGIF!!! This week flew by! I think between the hurricane last week and Yom Kippur, the jewish holiday this week- I just can’t seem to figure out my days! I do have to say the weather has been a bit better, no don’t get too excited we are still dealing with 80s, but you can tell the humidity isn’t that bad- I’ll take it!! I am back to work for 2 weeks with my husband helping him out while his boss is on a work trip. I love spending the day with him and surprisingly I think we could work together without getting sick of each other.

What’s everyone up to this weekend? I’m heading to a high school football game tonight and possibly Islamorada for the day to celebrate my aunts birthday on Sunday!

I got a ton of messages for this Makemechic floral shift dress! It’s honestly fab and comes in at an even better price $16.90! As soon as I saw the print on this dress I fell in love! As I mentioned in my post Florals For Fall, you can absolutely utilize some of your summer floral pieces for fall! How adorable is the ‘scarf’ part. I think this adds a lot to this dress! I paired it with these Kristin Cavallari booties which are also a great purchase for fall & a South Florida winter! I got so much use out of these last year and can’t wait to wear them again this year. They are beyond comfortable and come in 4 different colors and I linked them above, here and below in the widget. Lastly, I added this neutral Gigi New York bag. You can wear it on your shoulder or as a crossbody bag with the adjustable chain strap. Shop this look below and this dress here!

Have a great weekend babes! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

    Peace Out Matthew!

Happy Thursday loves! It feels like a weird Thursday, actually felt like a Friday yesterday getting everything prepared for Hurricane Matthew. For those in the area please stay safe! It’s been about 10 years since we had a major hurricane and I was actually in college when Wilma came so I didn’t feel the effects as bad. The lines were crazy to get gas yesterday. I had to go to 3 different gas stations before I finally was able to fill up. I’m really hoping and praying it doesn’t hit us bad. Most people don’t know this but I LOVE tracking storms. Stay tuned to my Snapchat: @mrsdonnaforst or Instagram Stories: @onthedllifestyle for some updates from the storm and some fun delirious videos 😛

I’ve been super obsessed with the B-Low the Belt but surprisingly, I can’t get myself to spend $150 on a belt that I will probably barely wear once the trend dies down. I did some searching and I found this Topshop dupe. At first I had it in my cart on Nordstrom and it kept selling out I was so upset. I finally found it in stock on the Topshop site here, I also linked it above and below in the widget, along with this full look. It’s super light and isn’t as big as the B-Low the Belt ones, which I liked. I decided to pair it with this Chicwish dress, belted. It actually worked out perfect because I ordered a size small and it was a bit big. I would recommend sizing down for a flowy dress like this.

Ok so let’s talk these booties!! I got these here on Steve Madden pre-order summer of 2015. They have been my go-to bootie ever since! They remind me of the Isabel Marant “Dicker” ankle boots but those are $635 vs these Steve Madden ones for $130! I mean don’t get me wrong I love splurging on shoes but for someone like me who is in warmer weather I rather splurge on a pair I can wear all year long!

What is your go-to pair of boots? I’m looking to get a new pair for fall and I would love some new recommendations! If you haven’t had a chance to enter the giveaway on my last post it’s still open!

Thanks for stopping by! XX, Donna
